Donald Trump is just now beginning to learn something rather important. Most people learn things such as this in their very young childhood. Mr. Trump is in his seventies, but it can fairly be said that he is also in some respects still in his very young childhood. Mr. Trump is about to learn the difference between using a machine strictly for your own good, and using that machine to benefit yourself only through elevation of the machine, itself.
Today, as has been the case for quite some time, politics and government in the United States, as elsewhere, constitute a well-oiled machine. It is a machine with its own system for self-aggrandizement and self-protection. Mr. Trump has entered that machine on an escalator, and proceeded to abuse the machine for his own aggrandizement at the expense of the machine. And what he is just about to learn, is the difference between his own take on the situation, and that of someone like, for example, a fellow nicknamed Moscow Mitch, who easily and readily bows to the machine. Donald Trump is about to learn that today’s machines have their own systems for dealing with problematic situations and problematic people (children?). And this system is just about ready to chew up, and spit out, Mr. Trump. Here in this country we have three branches of government. And one of them has had just about enough of Donald Trump. Moscow Mitch was prophetically correct when he said that Trump has, “Not gotten away with anything. …Yet.”
